Custom cube boxes are equal-sided or near-equal square packaging boxes manufactured to your exact specifications including custom dimensions, materials (cardboard, kraft, or rigid board), full-color printing, and logo branding. They are widely used for gifts, candles, cosmetics, confectionery, jewelry, and subscription products across retail and e-commerce channels in the United States.
Most brands treat packaging as an afterthought and it shows. Flimsy boxes, misaligned prints, and generic sizing don’t just look unprofessional; they actively cost you customers.
Cube-shaped packaging is one of the most versatile, shelf-friendly formats in the industry. But sourcing it well is where most businesses stumble either paying too much, dealing with slow turnaround, or receiving product that doesn’t match the proof. These are the exact pain points we built our service to eliminate.
Whether you’re a candle brand protecting delicate votives, a jewelry company delivering a premium unboxing moment, or an e-commerce business fulfilling subscription boxes by the thousands the right cube packaging changes how customers perceive your brand from the first touch.
Brands that invest in structured, branded cube packaging report higher perceived product value, lower return rates, and stronger customer retention all measurable outcomes from a single packaging decision.
We design, print, and manufacture custom cube boxes for businesses of every size from boutique startups to high-volume brands shipping nationwide across the United States.
Full-color CMYK and Pantone printing with your brand artwork, product details, and QR codes inside and out. Vibrant finishes that hold under repeated handling.
Premium presentation cubes for gifting, retail gifting lines, and seasonal campaigns. Available with magnetic closures, ribbon pulls, and custom inserts for a full luxury experience.
Branded cube packaging with precise logo placement embossed, foil-stamped, digitally printed, or spot UV. Every box becomes a brand touchpoint your customers remember.
Competitive wholesale cube packaging pricing for high-volume orders. Scalable production capacity with consistent quality across large runs ideal for retail chains and e-commerce businesses.
Sustainable cube packaging in recycled kraft, FSC-certified cardboard, and biodegradable coatings. Meet your brand’s environmental commitments without compromising on aesthetics.
High-end rigid cube boxes with 2mm greyboard construction for jewelry, cosmetics, and premium gifting. Substantial feel that communicates luxury at first touch.
Our reputation is built on one principle: every box we produce should make your product look better than it did before packaging. Here’s what that commitment looks like in practice.
Not all custom cube boxes should be made from the same material. The right choice depends on your product’s weight, your price point, and your brand’s environmental values.
Great packaging isn’t a cost it’s a conversion and retention tool. Here’s what our clients consistently report after switching to custom cube packaging.
Every order is built around your specifications. Here’s the full range of customization options available:
We’ve refined our process over thousands of projects to eliminate the friction that usually slows custom packaging orders down.
Custom cube boxes are one of the most universally applicable packaging formats in the industry. Our clients include:
From a boutique brand launching its first retail line to a national company fulfilling 50,000 units monthly, our manufacturing infrastructure scales to match your needs without ever compromising on finish quality.
What is the minimum order quantity for custom cube boxes?
Our standard minimum order quantity starts at 100 units for most custom cube box styles, including cardboard and kraft options. Rigid cube boxes typically start at 50 units. For wholesale cube packaging at high volume 5,000 units and above significantly better per-unit pricing is available. We’re transparent about pricing at every tier; you’ll see all quantity breakpoints clearly in your quote.
How long does production take for custom printed cube boxes?
Standard production time is 12–15 business days following approval of your physical pre-production sample. Rush production (7–10 business days) is available for an additional fee on select orders. Lead times for rigid cube boxes may be slightly longer due to the construction process. We confirm your exact timeline before you commit to an order.
Can I order cube boxes in a custom size not a standard dimension?
Absolutely. We manufacture fully custom cube boxes to your exact interior dimensions, calculated around your product’s measurements with the appropriate clearance built in. We create a structural dieline from scratch for every new size at no additional charge. There are no standard-size-only limitations.
Do you offer eco-friendly and sustainable cube packaging options?
Yes. We offer kraft cube boxes from recycled and FSC-certified sources, cardboard with recycled content, water-based and soy-based inks, and biodegradable aqueous coatings as alternatives to plastic lamination. If sustainability is a brand priority, we’ll help you build a packaging specification that meets your environmental commitments and any retail partner compliance requirements.
What artwork files do you need to get started?
We accept vector files (AI, EPS, PDF) at full resolution with fonts outlined and colors defined in Pantone or CMYK. High-resolution raster files at 300 dpi minimum are acceptable for photographic elements. If your files aren’t print-ready, our design team can prepare them for an additional fee, or advise you on what adjustments are needed before we begin.
How does your physical sample approval process work?
Once design files are approved, we produce a physical pre-production sample and ship it to you before mass production begins. You review the box structure, print quality, colors, finishes, and fit with your actual product. If adjustments are needed, we revise and re-sample before proceeding. Mass production only starts with your explicit sign-off. This step is non-negotiable it’s how we maintain quality consistency across every run.
Do you ship custom cube boxes across the entire United States?
Yes. We serve clients in all 50 states and ship to warehouses, fulfillment centers, retail distribution hubs, and direct business addresses nationwide. Freight options include LTL, FTL, and parcel depending on your order volume. We coordinate delivery to match your inventory schedule and provide tracking on all shipments.

At Ono Custom Boxes, our Artwork Preparation Guide helps ensure your custom packaging design is print-ready for high-quality results. To get started, submit vector files (AI, EPS, or PDF) in CMYK color mode, with a 1/8 inch bleed and 300 DPI resolution. Convert all text to outlines and keep it at least 1/4 inch from the edges. Review your proof to ensure accuracy before submitting. Following these steps will guarantee your design is perfectly printed on your custom boxes.

The cut line is the outline that marks where your custom packaging will be trimmed. It is typically represented by a solid black line in your artwork file.

The bleed line is the area extending beyond the cut line, usually marked with a green line in your artwork. Typically, a 1/8 inch (0.125") bleed is required to prevent any unwanted white borders.

The crease line, marked by red lines in your artwork, indicates where the box will be folded during production.

Perforation lines, shown as dotted black lines, indicate where the box will have small, evenly spaced holes for easy tearing or separation. These are often used for tear-away sections.

The safety margin, marked by dotted green lines, is the area around the cut line where important elements (such as text, logos, or graphics) should be kept clear.
